Jasper the Buffalo

When Indiana celebrated its bicentennial in 2016, each county was given a fiberglass buffalo to decorate. Five local artists decorated Jasper. The state flag is on the head, notable landmarks of the County on one side, and typical scenes on the other. Everything on the buffalo is related to something in the County or State.
The buffalo's permanent home is on the second floor of the County Court House and to view it in the Court House, one must pass through Court House security.
The Court House is the architectural gem of Rensselaer. If you walk around it and examine it closely, you should find several faces and gargoyles in its decorations.
