Kolkman is a bold sans-serif derived from reworking an older typeface I had done. I occasionally needed a very bold typeface for display purposes, and Kolkman was my attempt to fill this void. It works, but I have never liked it so much that I had an overwhelming desire to include some lighter members to the family. On the other hand, it made a wonderful font to distort, and the No-Hype Type CD has a variety of fonts which were derived from Kolkman via font distortions.
