Masheen is based on an old 19th century design in which the letters have no curved elements, and the letter O is an octagon. The most popular form of this design today is Machine, but Masheen is not meant to be a clone of this face. (None of my typefaces are meant to be clones of other faces, and if that is what you want in a font collection, you will be disappointed in the No-Hype Type CD.) Masheen has different proportions than Machine.
