Modsten (Plain, Bold)

(available at myfonts.com and fonts.com)

Stencil variations are fairly easy to do to existing fonts, but I discovered this fairly late (1995 as I was finishing up Font Pro 5) or else there would be a lot more of them on the No-Hype Type CD.

Modsten is a stencil typeface that does not come from a previous font. The style is supposed to be a modernistic looking style, and hence the name--ModernStencil shortened to Modsten. All the letters are upper-case, but some of those on the lower-case keys differ from those on the upper-case keys. The bold version was created first, with the plain version something of an afterthought.
