PlainPensle (Plain, Bold, Italic, BoldItalic); PlainPensleXBold (Plain and Italic)

(available at myfonts.com and fonts.com)

One reason for the abundance of informal handwriting (or hand printing) faces is that they are easy to do. Who is to say that there is mistake? It is a safe sort of face to create.

PlainPensle attempts to give a very ordinary or generic type of hand printing on the plain and bold styles, and on the italics it tries to give a generic hand cursive. If you need a plain handwriting typeface, this typeface may be what you need.

PlainPensle is one of several typeface I have licensed (non-exclusive) to Edmark for use on one of their CDs. Kids can print out stories they write, in either Destination: Ocean or Destination: Rain Forest, using this font, though it has a different name.
