TwiggleeWarped

(available at myfonts.com and fonts.com)

A number of the fonts I produced for my last font CD for Wayzata were produced with a font distortion program called Font-O-Matic. Warping is one of the more interesting effects which Font-O-Matic can produce. Unfortunately, it does not usually give very pleasant results because this distortion changes the weights of the letters, so that some letters seem too light and some too heavy. To get results that look decent, one must go back and clean up the output, and often the extra work is not worth it. Though I tried the effect on many typefaces, I kept only a few.

TwiggleeWarped is an all-caps typeface. I thought the end result in this case was more attractive than the original, Twigglee. However you can see some of the problems with uneven weights of letters, though I corrected the worst of them.
