The Big Bird
Cameron Moberg is well-known in street-art circles. He is from San Francisco and was winner of a TV series called "Street Art Throwdown." In June of 2016 he came to Rensselaer and painted a mural on the wall of eMbers that he called "Take Flight." Moberg found Rensselaer because the Tippecanoe Arts Federation was having murals painted in Lafayette.
The mural is large and very visible for traffic traveling north one US 231. It took three years before the seeds planted with this mural would sprout in 2019 in the form of the Rensselaer Art Walk.
